CountPlus appoints Group Chief Risk Officer

CountPlus has announced the appointment of Lisa Chambers as the company’s Group Chief Risk Officer. 

Ms Chambers brings significant commercial risk expertise and a strategic mindset to the CountPlus business, having held numerous senior leadership roles in financial services. Most recently, she served as the General Manager of Australian Executor Trustees (AET), running one of Australia’s leading private trustee companies across multiple business lines. AET oversaw more than $6.9 billon in funds under management, and Ms Chambers was integral in leading the team that sold the business from Insignia to Equity Trustees in 2022 for $135 million.

Prior to that, she held senior executive roles at National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Colonial First State and BT.

Hugh Humphrey, Chief Executive Officer at CountPlus, said Ms Chambers’ appointment was a terrific outcome for the business.

Ms Chambers will commence in the role on 27 March 2023.
