Financial Momentum joins Count Financial

Count Financial has announced the appointment of Financial Momentum as the latest firm to join its national advice community.

Count Financial has appointed 23 new firms since the start of 2021, as the CountPlus-owned licensee continues to target high-quality advice business as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

Financial Momentum were previously licensed with Total Financial Solutions (TFS), a licensee that was also owned by CountPlus. Since then, they were part of the Nextplan network before making the decision to move to Count Financial.

Financial Momentum is a family business based in the north Victorian town of Wangaratta with a second office in Sunbury. They have a team of four financial advisers who aim to make financial planning as simple and convenient as possible for their clients.

Speaking about their reasons for partnering with Count Financial, Matthew Holmes, Director and Financial Adviser at Financial Momentum, said the decision was made simpler given the existing relationships they have with former TFS firms and the superior technology service that was on offer.

“We have ongoing relationships with former TFS firms who joined Count Financial and many of them spoke about how great the transition had been for them. These relationships were instrumental in our decision to join, as we were looking for ways to increase efficiencies that these firms have been enjoying on the back of Count Financial’s strong technology focus.”

Andrew Kennedy, Chief Advice Officer at Count Financial, said that Financial Momentum is a quality firm who he is excited to be working with once again.

“Given my background as the former CEO of TFS, I’m delighted to be working with Michael, Matt and the team once again. It’s pleasing to know that the investments we are making in simplifying and enhancing the advice delivery process are being recognised by our adviser community, which has played a big part in Financial Momentum choosing to rejoin us.”

Financial Momentum commences with Count Financial on Wednesday 1 December.
