Mr Leung has spent the last 15 years leading senior finance portfolios at the Australian energy infrastructure business APA Group, an ASX top 50 company. Most recently, he was the General Manager Business Services and Finance Transformation.

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and a Master of Applied Finance and Investments from Macquarie University. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Mr Leung formally commences in the role on 2 October 2023.
